Dell Technologies x Recycle Utah

LME forged a sustainability partnership between Dell Technologies and Sundance Film Festival. We dreamed up ways to make the event less-impactful on our environment, so we approached Sundance with an eco-minded initiative. 30,000 pounds of recycled electronic waste and a cool leave-behind sculpture!

Dell Technologies (Official Technology Sponsor of Sundance Film Festival) teamed up with Sundance as the Official Sustainability Partner of the SFF 2019. Dell Technologies wanted to truly give back to the Park City community throughout the year, so we linked arms with local, non-profit recycling center, Recycle Utah. In collaboration with Recycle Utah, Dell Technologies committed to cover the cost of collecting and recycling up to 30,000 pounds of electronic waste. Throughout the summer, Recycle Utah hosted E-Waste FREE DAYS.

We lovingly built and installed #GusTheMoose in partnership with Dell Technologies and Recycle Utah. Gus’ new home is Willow Creek Park. Gus provides a friendly reminder for local residents and visitors to take care of our planet and “Leave No Trace” while enjoying nature.
